Post Falls woman dies in crash

POST FALLS — A 58-year-old Post Falls woman died following a two-vehicle collision Friday evening on Seltice Way, just west of Silkwood Drive, west of Post Falls, Idaho State Police reported.

Olga O. Burchett was traveling east on Seltice at 6:40 p.m. when she lost control of her 2008 Suzuki SX4 and went left of the center line, police reported. Her Suzuki was struck by a vehicle driven westbound by Michelle D. Tibbets, 37, of Newman Lake, Wash., which struck the right side of Burchett’s vehicle.

Burchett was pronounced dead at the scene, while Tibbets and an unnamed passenger were transported to Kootenai Health with injuries, police reported.

Further information about Tibbets’ vehicle and the condition of its two occupants was unavailable.
