Spring Dash committee announces student art contest

The 37th annual United Way of North Idaho Spring Dash sponsored by Kootenai Health, Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU), and the Coeur d’Alene Press will take place Sunday, April 27. Registration for Spring Dash is available online now at UnitedWayofNorthIdaho.org/SpringDash and will be available at Fleet Feet Coeur d’Alene, United Way of North Idaho, or any ICCU location.

High school students can put their artistic skills to the test and enter the 2019 Spring Dash T-Shirt Design Contest.

The design winner will receive a $100 cash prize, recognition in the Coeur d’Alene Press and the opportunity to work with the T-shirt company to see the process of transforming their original artwork to a finished product.

The winning design will be printed on 1,000 T-shirts and distributed to all Spring Dash participants.

Original work must be submitted to United Way of North Idaho, 501 E. Lakeside Ave., Suite 3, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814. Colors are highly encouraged and designs may be in any medium but must include the following: tulips, the words “Spring Dash,” and “37th Annual.”

Entries must be received by noon, Friday, March 15, and should include a name, address, and phone number on the back of the entry.

The Spring Dash planning committee will have full rights to the winning entry. All other entries may be returned upon request.

Also sponsored by Fleet Feet Sports, Pilgrim’s Market, Knock Marketing, Jump For Joy, and the Wellness Bar, all proceeds from Spring Dash help United Way of North Idaho advance the education, financial stability, and health of people in our community.
