Nancy Lou Wilson, 88
Nancy Lou Wilson, 88, passed away on Feb., 8, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones. Nancy was born in Camden, N.J., to Frederick and Beatrice Dreegar, and grew up in Maple Shade, N.J.
On July 16, 1949, she married Harry Wilson in Merchantville, N.J. Their oldest son, Frederick was born in August of 1952, and Cindy was born in July of 1956. In April of 1958, they moved to Downey, Calif. In August of 1961, Nanette was born. In 1964, the family moved to Garden Grove, Calif., and Nancy began her banking career. She spent 24 years working for Security Pacific/Bank of America, retiring as an escrow officer at age 58.
In 1988, Nancy and Harry moved to Sun City, Ariz., where they enjoyed their retired life, golfing and spending time with her parents. Nancy enjoyed reading, walking and swimming, and they were both very active in their church, First Presbyterian Church of Sun City.
In 2014 they moved to Palm Desert, Calif., to be closer to their daughters. In 2018, they moved to Garden Plaza of Post Falls, Idaho, where they enjoyed living in their “five star hotel.”
Nancy is survived by her husband of 69 years, Harry Wilson of Post Falls; Fred and Bonnie Wilson of Reno, Nev., Cindy and Don Davis of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Nanette and Rick Bicker of Hayden, Idaho. They have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Yates Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
