Heritage Health names new chief financial officer
Mark Hampe has been hired to be Heritage Health’s chief financial officer.
He previously served on the Heritage Health board as treasurer for the last four years.
“Mark has an incredible background that will help him be extremely successful in this new role,” said CEO Mike Baker. “His experience serving on the board combined with his ability to build trust and strong relationships will serve us well as we grow.”
Hampe has worked over 20 years in the finance, accounting and banking industry, including the last five years as a vice president at U.S. Bank in Coeur d’Alene.
Heritage Health is a community health center, serving about 30,000 patients annually in Kootenai and Shoshone counties. The nonprofit employs about 320 people, including more than 90 providers.
Hampe is active in the community, volunteering his time and talent as treasurer for the North Idaho College Booster Club and board member and treasurer for Idaho Drug Free Youth and RLHOA.
He earned his accounting degree at the University of Montana and passed the Certified Public Account (CPA) Examination in 2000.
Mark is married to his wife, Nancy, and they have one daughter, Hailey.
