ABORTION: God rules otherwise

The ruling in New York to legalize abortions after 24 weeks is another indicator of how far we as individuals, and a collective society, have fallen from God and His design for our lives, as outlined in His Word.

The ruling stands as a Nebuchadnezzan statue of our age, right out of the book of Daniel. As all the officials, governors, advisers, judges and magistrates were to come to the dedication of this self-glorifying edifice, so, too, it appears that since this ruling came from NEW YORK — centric to our country and world affairs, this qualifies it as immediately mainstream and worthy of bowing down to. Without question, we as sheep are led to slaughter, in and out of the womb, all under the guise of personal rights and reproductive freedom.

Yet our God will not be mocked, and as He brought down Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom, He will do to the country that ignores His Words. This battle for life is far deeper than science and medical procedures… these all clearly point to the reality of life at conception. This elevation of man as the master of his — or her — own fate is in direct defiance to God as Lord, Creator and Judge.

God will see His plans play out, whether we stand with Him or not. Yet if we bow to the mandates of man, we will be the one’s consumed by the fiery furnace. May we have the wisdom to see the holocaust we are bringing upon ourselves.
