WALL: Good idea then, now
There are some things I have a hard time putting my mind around.
When we run a high fever, we call on a doctor. If our water pipe breaks, we call on a plumber. If a circuit breaker keeps going out, we call an electrician.
So why is it that when 90 percent of heroin entering the U.S., and people illegally cross our southern border, we turn to politicians for advice rather than the men and women working in the Border Patrol? When these same men and women are asked if walls work, they emphatically respond with a “yes.”
Three or four years ago, both political parties agreed for additional money be spent on border walls. I wish someone would ask Pelosi and Schumer what happened in the last two years that changed their minds, and now calling them immoral.
Surely they are not putting American lives in danger just for political purposes!
