Michael ‘Mike’ John Patton, 65

Michael “Mike” John Patton, “Papi,” was born on Nov. 2, 1953, to Robert and Maggie (Donegan) Patton in Phoenix, Ariz. He grew up in Phoenix with his siblings, Robert, Kathy and Laurie. On Oct. 23, 1973, Mike enlisted and served his country in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged on Sept. 8, 1976.

Mike’s biggest wish was that when he went home to our Heavenly Father, that he would meet him in victory of sobriety. Mike died at his home with eight and a half years sobriety on Jan. 30, 2019, at the age of 65 years.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Andrea (Shane) Shafer of Hayden, Idaho and Kelly (Paul) Stetzelberger of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; seven grandchildren: Colby, Rylie, Alexis, Preston, Braedon, Andrew and Cennedy; and a sister, Laurie Clark of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maggie and siblings, Kathy and Robert.

Blessed and eternal be the memory of Michael John Patton.

Services are scheduled for a later date at the National Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. Arrangements are provided by Yates Funeral Homes of Coeur d’Alene and Hayden, Idaho.
