Daniel C. Ball, 94

Daniel C. Ball, 94, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, died peacefully at home on Jan. 23, 2019. He was born in Denver, Colo., in 1924. Dan spent his early years in Denver, until he joined the Air Force in 1943. He was a radio operator in a B-17 Flying Fortress from 1943 to 1945. He graduated from Northwestern University of Evanston, Ill., with a BS in business administration. After working at Illinois Bell, he worked as a teacher and an administrator at Emmaus Bible College.

At Emmaus he met his future bride, Margaret Watson. They were married in 1959, and just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 1, 2019. They spent most of their married life in San Diego, Calif., before moving to Idaho in 2007.
