LEWISTON — Chase Richardson recorded a pin at 138 pounds for Lake City, part of a total night of domination by the Timberwolves at Booth Hall.
“He’s only a sophomore, not a lot of varsity experience,” Lake City coach Corey Owen said. “He had his best match of the year, and went out and got the pin.”
Owen, in his 11th season, said he recalled a trip to Lewiston early in his T-Wolf coaching career where the score was lopsided in the Bengals’ favor.
“So it was pretty nice to turn that tide,” he said.
Lake City plays host to Sandpoint on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in an after-school special. The dual was originally scheduled for Wednesday.
