PLUMMER — Kenyon SpottedHorse led five Lakeside players in double figures with 23 points, leading the Knights in a 97-50 North Star League romp over the Mullan Tigers at Ron Miller Court on Thursday.

“We came out in a press and it worked pretty well in the first half,” said Lakeside coach James Twoteeth, whose team led 59-18 at halftime. “We kind of wore them down. It was good for all of our guys to get in and contribute. We moved the ball pretty well.”

Talon Twoteeth scored 17 points, Emmitt White 16 points, JJ Hall 12 points and Jasper Abuan 10 points for Lakeside (10-6, 4-3 NSL), which travels to Clark Fork tonight.

Chandler Holling scored 17 points for Mullan (5-10, 1-7), which hosts Clark Fork on Thursday at the Mullan Pavilion.

LEWISTON — The host Bengals connected on 17 3-pointers to get past the Timberwolves in a 5A Inland Empire League game at Booth Hall.

“Give Lewiston credit, they shot the ball really well,” Lake City assistant coach Kelly Reed said. “A lot of those shots were contested, but it kind of got out of hand quickly. Our kids kept playing, but when a team shoots like that, there’s not much you can do.”

Dylan Johnson hit a team-high six 3-pointers for Lewiston, finishing with 18 points.

Cramer and Sheldon Kistler each finished with 14 points for Timberlake (6-10, 4-0 IML), and Chase Gardom added 13.

“We didn’t take very good care of the ball,” said Timberlake coach Mike Menti, who lost senior point guard JT Wilfong to a torn ACL in last Saturday’s victory at Kellogg. “Dawson hit a couple 3s that gave us some momentum and some separation, and Sheldon did a good job defensively and offensively for us.”
