VFW Auxillary: Thanks for feed, fundraiser

On behalf of the VFW Auxiliary No. 889, I am submitting the following letter to the editor:

One big Thank You!

Most people know firefighters have a favorite recipe with “secret” ingredients and are used to cooking for more than the average-sized family. Well, Chief Gabriel proved that he was not only an able, super firefighter, but his culinary skills tantalize one’s taste buds. He graciously donated his time to be the chef for the VFW Auxiliary No. 889 annual fundraiser on Oct. 13.

He dished up a fantastic spaghetti feed for 105 people. Our fundraiser was resoundingly successful, not only because of the generosity of the attendees, but also because of the great food. Our fundraiser helps us raise funds to help veterans in need in our community.
