CYT-North Idaho to present 'School House Rock Live!'

Christian Youth Theater-North Idaho is gearing up for its next production: “School House Rock Live!”

There are 75 local school children ages 8-18 busy rehearsing for the show. Based on a pop culture phenomenon from the 1970s, this fast-paced musical teaches lessons with clever, catchy tunes.

The show stays true to the original material, which will be familiar to parents and other adults who grew up watching it on televison.

“School House Rock Live!” opens Feb. 24 at the Salvation Army Kroc Community Theater stage and runs through Mar 5.

Dates and times for performances are as follows: Feb. 24, 25, March 3 and 4 at 7 p.m.; and Feb. 25, 26, March 4 and 5 at 3 p.m.

Ticket prices are $9 to $15. A family discount matinee will be held Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. with all tickets priced at $9.
