Don't worry DMV customer; your driver's license is on its way

The Idaho Division of Motor Vehicles announced Tuesday it wants to reassure customers who have not yet received a driver’s license or identification card applied for in the last five weeks.

Temporary cards are good for 60 days and permanent cards should be received soon. The factory producing the cards plans to mail a massive quantity early next week.

The card design is new, as is the vendor producing them, which led to a delay. Customers are advised to check mail carefully and open any envelope that could have a card inside.
