PREP BASKETBALL: North Idaho Christian rolls in Helena opener

HELENA, Mont. — Mary Schlader had nine points, 14 rebounds and two blocked shots as the North Idaho Christian Royals beat Helena Christian 32-11 in the Helena tournament at the Salvation Army gym on Friday.
Kaylee Prosch had seven points, six steals and four assists for North Idaho Christian (1-1), which faces Foothill Christian of Bozeman and Great Falls Christian today to wrap up tournament play.

Jamboree: The six North Star League teams meet today at Post Falls Middle School, starting at 4 p.m.
The jamboree is a fundraiser for the IHSAA’s Youth Endowment for Activities, so state and district passes will not be honored. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for students, $5 for students without ASB cards, and $4 for children under 12. Preschoolers and senior citizens are admitted free.
