PREP GIRLS BASKETBALL: Timberlake romps at Moscow
MOSCOW — Keelie Lawler scored 17 points as the Timberlake Tigers rolled past the Moscow Bears 64-29 in a nonleague game at Bear Den on Wednesday night.
Allison Kirby, who signed a letter of intent to play at Idaho earlier this week, scored 15 points for Timberlake (3-0), which has opened the season with wins over each of the teams in the 4A Inland Empire League.
“It was some balanced scoring all the way through,” Timberlake coach Matt Miller said. “Offensively, we spread the ball around really well. We sent them to the line too much, but the kids played hard.”
Gracey Meyer scored 15 points for Moscow (0-1).
