Woodall, a 6-foot-2, 265 pound senior offensive guard from Lake City High in Coeur d’Alene, was named to the All-Northwest Conference second team, the conference announced. Woodall just completed his third year as a starting guard for the Pirates, who finished the season 8-2.

Story, a redshirt freshman from Coeur d’Alene High, finished 51st in 20 minutes, 43.5 seconds for the Vandals in the NCAA West Regional at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento on Nov. 11. “Kara went out and led the team, looked fantastic,” Idaho director of track and field/cross country Tim Cawley said. “She ran like she had all year long, with a lot of confidence and poise.”
Brady Ulen

Ulen, a senior defender from Post Falls High and North Idaho College, scored two goals and assisted on the third goal of a 3-2 win against Dixie State in the opening round of the NCAA Division II tournament on Nov. 11 at La Jolla, Calif. Ulen scored the tying goal in the 78th minute and scored both of his goals on penalty kicks. Western Washington finished 10-5-4 after a loss to UC San Diego last Sunday. Ulen started 14 of 15 matches for Western Washington, finishing with five goals and two assists on the season.

Burch-Manning, a 6-6 sophomore forward who played as a freshman at NIC, was named the Summit League Player of the Week on Nov. 13. Burch-Manning recorded back-to-back double doubles in leading the Coyotes to a 3-0 start, their best at the Division I level. He recorded game highs of 24 points and 11 rebounds in a Nov. 11 win at Drake in Des Moines, Iowa. He posted game highs of 14 points and 11 rebounds in a 78-72 win against Bowling Green on Nov. 13 in Vermillion, S.D. For the week, Burch-Manning shot 63 percent from the field and was 12 of 18 from the free-throw line, with three assists and one block.

Guice, a 6-8 junior forward/center from Lake City High and North Idaho College, scored 11 points on 4 of 5 shooting, including 3 of 4 from the 3-point line for the Flames (1-1) in an 82-80 loss at San Francisco on Nov. 11.

Meehan, a 5-9 junior outside hitter from Post Falls High and NIC, was named to the All-Cascade Conference team the conference recently announced. Meehan led the Yotes with 372 kills (fourth in the conference) and averaged 3.58 kills per set. She had 21 double-digit kill matches and led the Yotes with 13 double-doubles during the regular season. College of Idaho finished 20-10.

Angola-Rodas, a 6-6 junior guard, who played two seasons at NIC, is averaging 15.5 minutes per game for the Seminoles (2-0), coming off the bench to grab six rebounds in Tuesday’s 99-78 win against Iona in Tallahassee, Fla.

Taylor, a 5-11 sophomore outside hitter, was named an the All-Cascade Conference honorable mention the conference announced on Nov. 11. Taylor averaged 3.50 kills, 2.66 digs and .25 aces per set for the Geoducks, finishing with 360 kills. Evergreen State, an NAIA school in Olympia, Wash., finished the season 5-22.
