POST FALLS — Dusty Weeks had two of the Cardinals’ four hits in the loss to the Expos on Sunday to conclude play at the Eastside Memorial Tournament at Post Falls High.

Preston Benson had a double and a walk and a run scored for Prairie (0-4).

“I am happy with the way our guys played tonight,” Prairie coach Brian Fowler said. “Give the Expos credit. They are a very talented team. Playing against quality opponents like we have in our first four games gives us a great idea of where we need to get to by the end of the year.”

Prairie returns to action June 10 vs. the Missoula Prospects at 3 p.m. in the School’s Out Tournament hosted at Post Falls High.

MISSOULA — Coeur d’Alene beat the Bozeman Spikes 8-4 and lost to the Missoula Mavericks 6-5, both at Osprey Field on Day 2 of the Dale Dahlgren Memorial Day Tournament.
