Homeschool graduation set for May 21 in Cd'A
The North Idaho Home Educators Association will host its 2016 high school graduation Saturday, May 21, in Coeur d’Alene.
The graduation will take place at 3 p.m. at Candlelight Christian Fellowship, 5725 N. Pioneer Drive, near the intersection of U.S. 95 and Dalton Avenue.
North Idaho Home Educators Association was formed in 1998 as a Christian ministry, providing support to local families interested in home schooling. As in past years, the association is hosting a traditional formal cap and gown graduation ceremony to recognize the hard work and achievements of local graduating home-schooled students.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony and reception following.
Idaho State Rep. Vito Barbieri will be the honored guest speaker at this year’s ceremony, with NIHEA President Jean Justus Wright acting as Master of Ceremonies. Rep. Barbieri is currently serving his third term in the Idaho State House of Representatives.
