SIMS: Why she's needed

| May 13, 2016 9:00 PM

My wife and I moved to North Idaho in 1977 and bought the small Honda shop in Osburn. We soon met Kathy Sims of Coeur d’Alene Honda…

Kathy was a competitor, but she even more, a cooperative dealer and became a lifelong friend. She was a source of good business advice, practices and was always willing to help. None of that ever changed.

Kathy has a remarkable record in business here in Coeur d’Alene, was a consultant to other businesses (some time back), has been a community asset who gives, not takes, and has stood for fairness to all of us…not just a few.

Kathy has an impeccable level of integrity, the ability to do the right thing for the long term, and far more.

We need Kathy as the legislature she is. The young man who seeks her position needs to broaden his experience base, especially in the private sector. He needs to learn the difference between acquiring information in school and acquiring wisdom in the real world. I would prefer he do that on his dime, not our taxes.

If you want Idaho taxes to stay under some control and see the state move ahead with good government, not more government, vote for Kathy Sims.
