CHEATHAM, MACOMBER, SIMS: Solid conservatives
If you are conservative in the sense that you want less government, less regulation and less taxes, then vote for Don Cheatham for seat 3-B, Art Macomber for seat 4-A and Kathy Sims for seat 4-B. These candidates are solid conservatives.
Congressman Labrador endorsed incumbents Sims and Cheatham for re-election. The North Idaho Political Action Committee (NIPAC) added Republican to their name (RNIPAC) hoping you believe them to be a conservative organization. Don’t be fooled. They are progressives who want more of your tax dollars for whatever they think is important. The candidates they endorse will help them achieve their goals.
The true conservatives in Kootenai County (read, not RNIPAC) expect our elected officials to question spending bills and new regulations. Many times the most complex bills are by design presented to the legislators in the final days of the session. They are not given the opportunity to amend the bills or offer substitute bills. With no options they vote NO. If that causes some to call them obstructionist, so be it. If our Federal government had more legislators saying NO, we would not be 19 trillion dollars in debt.
Mr. Malek was elected in 2012 and went to Boise with great promise. However his voting record reveals a big government spender. The Idaho Freedom Foundation, a conservative think tank, rates Mr. Malek with an “F” for his job performance.
I believe The Press and RNIPAC have conducted an all out effort to replace good conservative legislators with more progressive Malek like candidates. They will not be happy until the legislature is made up entirely of followers. Following the politically correct road to ruin.
