PREP ROUNDUP: Vikings, T-Wolves tie
• TENNIS
COEUR d’ALENE — The Vikings swept in doubles play, and the Timberwolves swept in singles play as the teams played to a 6-6 tie in a tennis match on Thursday afternoon.
Girls matches were played at Lake City High, with boys played at Coeur d’Alene High.
“I liked the way our doubles played,” Coeur d’Alene boys coach Dan O’Connor said. “Those are nice wins for us. I think Seth (Priebe) and Brock (Tanya) are coming along well for our doubles team. Lake City’s singles are tough and they proved it today.”
Coeur d’Alene plays at Sandpoint on Tuesday.
Lake City resumes play in the 5A Region 1 tournament next Friday and Saturday at Coeur d’Alene High.

District 1 All-Star Meet
set for today in
Post Falls
POST FALLS — The annual District 1 All-Star Meet will be held today starting at 2:30 p.m. at Post Falls High.
The top 16 individuals from the area, along with the top eight relays will compete today in all five classifications.
“We’ve got quite a few kids with marks that are close to meet records already,” Post Falls coach Wade Quensell said. “It should be a good day for all the athletes as long as the weather holds up.”
