PRESIDENT: Qualifications first

It is interesting to me to note that many politicians express the opinion that Ronald Reagan was the best president during their lifetime, then go on to endorse one of the untried senators. They seem to forget that Reagan was our oldest president and former two-term governor of a state, while endorsing one of the senators who has accomplished nothing.
The presidency is not “an on the job learning situation.” We need an experienced person to preside over this complex situation. Perhaps the natives knew what they were doing when they listened to and valued the opinions of the elders.
