Woman dies as a result of head-on crash

PINEHURST — An 86-year-old Pinehurst woman died in a head-on collision on Interstate 90 near Pinehurst on Sunday night.
According to Idaho State Police, Phyllis B. Craddick was driving a 2001 Ford Focus eastbound in the westbound lanes at 7:43 p.m. when the vehicle collided with a westbound 2014 Subaru Crosstrek driven by Jasmine E. James, 17, Kingston.
Craddick died at the scene. James was treated and released from Shoshone Medical Center. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The highway was blocked for three hours.
