She is fondly remembered by many from the University of Utah where she spent many years in the accounting department.

Della was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Earl, Mabel, Eleanore, William, Mildred, Edward and Elva; daughter-in-law Patty Monti and longtime friend Harper Nelson.

She is survived by her sons and their families, Bill and Janet Monti and children Christina and Scott Hansen, and five children, Mark Monti and Veronica and Andy Knutson; Don and Jun Monti and children Paul Monti, Melody Monti and two children, Steve and Christina Monti and two children, and Gary and Brittany Monti and three children; and Hal Monti.
