Make the best possible memories

Here’s our Christmas wish list for you:

That nobody is left alone today who wants to be with others.

That your day dawns glorious and only gets better as the hours roll by.

That there is youthful chatter and elderly laughter throughout the day. That there are quiet times that reflect a peace within. That there are tears, but they’re the happy kind; as they glide down, smiles climb up.

That in your house, or the place where you’re gathered with others, hugs are too abundant to count.

That everybody’s happy with what they got.

That nobody got everything they wanted.

That this day will live forever in your memory, triggering upon recall an appreciation for your many blessings and a healthy forgetfulness about what’s wrong with you, with others, with the world.

Because someday, these memories are all we’ll have — but only if we’re lucky.
