The team is comprised of 20 elite cross country runners from Coeur d’Alene, Hayden, Post Falls, Sandpoint and Liberty Lake running either a 2K, 3K, 4K or 5K depending on age. The runners had a qualifying association race in Pasco, Wash., and then a qualifying regional race in Pasco to send the best runners in the Northwest to Albuquerque.
