Trees falling onto roadways

Idaho State Police personnel advise that travel is very dangerous on Interstate 90 and State Highway 3 in the Fourth of July Pass area.

With the heavy amount of snow accumulations and more snow falling, trees are overloaded and falling onto road ways.

"We are requesting motorists in these areas to be aware of the these dangers and to not travel unless it is absolutely necessary," stated a press release from the agency.  "The Idaho Transportation Department is in the area trying to clear the trees as quickly as possible. Please use caution."
