Shirley Wirl, 81

Shirley Elizabeth Wirl of Hayden, Idaho passed away Dec. 14, 2015.

Born on March 22, 1934, in Cramer, Pa., Shirley was the second of six children. It was in this rural setting that she learned the value of family, home and her appreciation of the outdoors.

She fell in love and married George Wirl. Together they moved to southern California, then to Moscow, Idaho. Their home for the last 27 years was under the pines in Hayden.

Shirley is survived by her husband George, daughter Sharon (Robert) Fisher of St. Anthony, Idaho and son Michael (Lynn) Wirl of Sun Prairie, Wis. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Robert (Melonie) Fisher and their children Tyler, Trever and Lacey of Shelley, Idaho, Kristen (Kyle) Morrison of Idaho Falls, and Jonathan Wirl of Sun Prairie, Wis.

Private Services have been held at Yates Funeral Home.

The family extends its gratitude to the staff and condolences to Shirley's extended family at Creekside Inn in Coeur d'Alene.
