Janett Gridley, 82

Janett Gridley, of Dalton Gardens, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Dec. 10, 2015, at Courtyard Assisted Living in Coeur d'Alene, after an extended illness.

Janett was born to Alice (Steele) and Horace Denton on Aug. 11, 1933 in Lacassine, La. She graduated from Sulphur (Louisiana) High School. She enjoyed travelling, working around her home and shopping.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Robert Gridley; daughter Connie Schmidt (Clark), son Gerald Brown (Shelly); step-children Sam Gridley (Kerry), Jessica Huey (Mike), Chris Gridley (Michele); grandchildren Chad Schmidt (Caitlyn), Christina Ackerman (Ryan), Isaac Murcar, Nate Huey, Jadyn Gridley; and two great-grandchildren, Avery and Brantley Ackerman.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Hood Denton and Hesic Denton, and sister, Nell Morris. She is survived by her sister Frances Tollinger in Houston, Texas.

At her request no funeral services will be held and a family gathering will be set at a later date.
