Eva May Brockus, Williams, Nelson, born April 8, 1924 in Skiatook, Okla, passed Dec. 4, 2015, at age 91 at Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. As a young girl she moved with her family to Sandpoint, Idaho, where many extended family members remain today. Eva and her identical twin sister Evalyn were the youngest of five children joining Bill, Ellis and Marie. Eva and Evelyn married brothers Don and Lewis Williams in a double wedding on their graduation day in 1942. Eva is survived by daughter Janice (Jack) Pintler; Three grandchildren: Shelly (Rick) Varnell, Mike (Danielle) Pintler and Nick (Kelly) Pintler. Eight great-grandchildren, Eric, Aspen, Kyle, Kaleb, Kason, Kohen, Kashton, and Kyan. Eva was also great-great grandmother to Aspen’s daughter Haleigh. Also surviving her are her twin sister and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Lew, and second husband Paul Nelson. Always stylish and well dressed, Eva was an independent woman, with a strong will. She worked outside of the home in an era when it was not a common practice. In her free time she painted in oil and watercolor, enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband Lew. Her family will always remember her doing numerous home improvements and construction projects well into her eighties. In her honor family with be gathering for a casual celebration of life dinner. She has requested that no services be held.
