Volkswagen dealership changes owners
What was Parker Volkswagen at 811 N. Greensferry Road, Post Falls, is now Post Falls Volkswagen. The reason: Jonah Namsom is the new owner — no longer the Parker Group that also has Parker Toyota and Parker Subaru in Coeur d’Alene.
A Lakeland High School graduate, Namson joned Parker Toyota at age 18 and worked there 19 years. His brother Nick is one of 20 employees at Post Falls Volkswagen.
Offering sales of new and used vehicles, parts and service, hours are 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. The place is also more accessible with the opening of the Greensferry overpass over I-90.

Now for the Tidbits
-Watch for news on Solar Eclipse’s new building in Post Falls, a new apartment complex at 728 E. Sherman Ave., Chipotle Mexican Grill on Appleway, Monet Floors & Home Design moving on Government Way, Ace Hardware building on Highway 41 in Rathdrum and McAllister Technical Services moving to the old Runge building at 12th and Sherman.
-Reader Richard said ads for watches show the time to be 10:10, the time Abraham Lincoln was killed.
-When his block house fell apart, 4-year-old grandson Max exclaimed, “Oh, brother.” (Glad it was that and not another exclamation). However, it shows how patriarchal we are. We say “Oh, brother” and “Oh, maaannn” rather than “sister” or “woman.” Even a female athlete will say to her teammates, “C’mon, you guys.”
