MOSCOW - Erica Simpson scored two of three second half goals to help rally the Trojans' past the Bears in a nonleague match at Moscow Junior High.

"This game, we had some mishaps at the start of the game," Post Falls coach Briggs Anderson said. "We went into this game with five starters out and had to make a lot of lineup adjustments. It really required the team to come together and play fundamental soccer."

Post Falls played without starters Shaylee Morlan, Hayley Eklund and Aneesah Gondo, who were injured in a car accident a week ago, as well as starting defender Lexi Smith, who received a red card in Thursday's match against Lewiston and had to sit out one game.

"For us, that's our entire starting back line," Anderson said. "They're going to start trickling back in next week, hopefully for some of our big games."

Simpson now has 19 goals on the season for Post Falls (8-3-1), which travels to Lake City on Tuesday in a game to determine the 5A Inland Empire League title.
