COEUR d'ALENE - Coeur d'Alene High's Graison Le scored in the 10th minute and the Vikings made it stand in a 1-0 victory over the visiting Lake City Timberwolves in 5A Inland Empire League play Thursday.

Le started the scoring play by taking the ball past midfield into Lake City territory and sent a pass to Adam Garman, who followed with a through ball back to Le and the junior finished by burying a shot into the corner of the net from the PK spot.

"We played extremely well today, but I would like to see us finish better," Coeur d'Alene coach Jeff Lake said. "Give credit to Tanner Horton in goal - he was unbelievable and made some saves to keep Lake City in the game."

The Vikings (9-3-1, 3-3), who avenged a 2-0 loss at Lake City two weeks ago, play next Tuesday at Sandpoint.

Horton made nine saves for the Timberwolves (6-5-1, 3-2), who host Moscow on Saturday.
