Worley — Police arrested a 65-year-old man who was wanted in Nebraska for possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of a controlled substance.

Around 7:15 this morning, Kootenai County Deputies and the Kootenai County Joint Agency SWAT team responded to a residence where Robert E. Lee was reportedly located.

After almost three hours of attempted negotiations, police entered the residence and took Lee into custody.

Lee was transported to the Public Safety Building and booked in on his outstanding warrants. He has no prior booking information or contact with law enforcement in Kootenai County; however, he reportedly has prior burglary, robbery and murder convictions.
