Investigators seek information on Best Hill fire

Print Article

Investigators are seeking information about a July 11 brush fire on Best Hill that appears to have been caused by humans.

Fire crews responded to the fire at approximately 5:20 p.m. yesterday. The blaze could be seen from I-90 and as far away as Post Falls.

Because 15th Street in Coeur d’Alene is a busy roadway, investigators believe that members of the community may have seen something that would be of use in determining the cause. Investigators are also interested in video or photos taken of the fire before fire crews arrived on the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Idaho Department of Lands tip line at (208) 666-8697.
