An 8-year-old fisherman is devastated after someone stole his treasured tackle box when he was fishing around noon on Thursday under the Cedar Street Bridge in Sandpoint. Max had spent years collecting lures and making special pieces that he kept in that box. His dad, Junior, is asking that whoever took the black and neon green tackle box return it to any business at the Cedar Street Bridge. “It’s an awful thing to take something so innocent and constructive away from him,” his father said. “I know it’s not fancy, but it means a lot to him.” See the full story in your Coeur d’Alene Press this weekend.
