The Coeur d’Alene Press is proud to announce a new way to connect readers to local and breaking news: the CDA Press News app, now available in the Apple Store and the Google Play (Android) Store.

One of the most exciting features of this app is the reader submission option, which allows readers to submit tips, comments and photos directly to our news team. When you see something newsworthy, you can share it with The Press in real time.

We’re asking readers to try out this feature (and have a little fun) by sharing photos of the “Cool Cats” in their lives. No, we’re not “kitten” around.

From your smart phone or tablet, download the app here. Then use the “Submit News/Photos” option on the drop-down menu to send photos of your furry friends.

We’ll post your cool cat photos on cdapress.com and on the app. The finest felines will also make an appearance in the print edition.
