COEUR d'ALENE — Construction crews are putting the final touches on the Government Way widening project between Hanley and Prairie avenues.

The outer lane in each direction was closed on Wednesday as grass seed is placed nearby.

Next week crews will intermittently close short portions of the outside lanes as they complete concrete work.

More work will continue through and after Memorial Day.

The work is anticipated to minimally impact traffic flows and business access.
