CLIMATE: Elevate the debate — now

Print Article

I have been an Idaho resident for over 20 years and have witnessed devastating forest fires, recent flash floods and unpredictable weather here in Coeur díAlene. I have been a witness to the climate change and science deniers. Human rights cannot and should not be denied. We need the support of our local officials to open the dialogue about climate change in Idaho. Itís an urgent matter and cannot be ignored.

We need a presidential debate on the climate emergency so candidates can showcase their plans to stop the collapse of civilization as we know it and create millions of good jobs.

As a political activist/mother/friend/community member/voter, I support a climate debate because itís the most important conversation for the future of civilization.
