I was driving to Coeur d’Alene last week and an older — older than me, probably — person sped by and I was going the speed limit of 70 mph. Soon it went to 55, and the majority of people don’t slow down. Why? Well, they won’t be the first one to be in line at the Northwest Boulevard exit. I don’t care if I’m first, second or 40th in line.
And if I need to use my phone, I pull over to the side and stop. If I get a call I don’t answer it while I’m driving.
Wake up, people! You don’t realize what danger you put yourself and other people in when you’re on your phone. Hang up and drive!
