SNOW: Jobs well done

Print Article

I want to give a hearty “Thank you!” to the plow drivers who are out there clearing our roads for the firemen, law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, school buses and all the rest of us while we are snug in our beds. After a tiring shift they go home to clear their own sidewalks and driveways, and yes, the dreaded berms, before they can get some much needed rest.

And to those who delight in criticizing them, especially during winters with above normal snowfall, I suggest maybe they are living in the wrong place. After all this is North Idaho.

Again I say “Well done plow drivers!” When we develop new equipment that can make the snow disappear we can expect better.
