MUSIC: Thanks to supporters

Print Article

I want to express deep thanks to our community for financially supporting music programs in the area. Kootenai Electric Cooperative recently awarded Ramsey Magnet School of Science a grant for $1,440. The grantís purpose is to purchase 20 new small saxophones to continue teaching elementary students about reed instruments through hands-on experiences. As a result of the communityís generosity, I have seen my students grow personally and academically. Students who otherwise would have been shy have come out of their shell. Others have found their niche in music when they otherwise would have felt left out.

Long story short: Thank you Coeur díAlene for your support. Thank you Kootenai Electric, Kiwanis, Coeur díAlene Rotary, EXCEL, and the Coeur díAlene Tribe for all of your support. Youíll never know how much it is appreciated and how youíve influenced my students.
