A Coeur d’Alene woman is accused of trying to shoplift nearly $2,300 worth of merchandise from the Hayden Walmart.
Jennifer L. Dossett, 43, was arrested Sunday by Kootenai County sheriff’s deputies who allege she was in the parking lot of the store pushing two carts full of merchandise she did not pay for. The carts contained 360 items from the store.
The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office reported Dossett initially gave false identification to the deputies who were able to later positively identify her.
Dossett was arrested on charges of burglary, grand theft and giving false identification to a peace officer. Additionally, she had an outstanding theft warrant for her arrest stemming from
a theft charge in September at the same Walmart store.
Dossett was booked into Kootenai County jail. She has been booked into the jail six previous times for driving and drug-related charges.
