| July 27, 2024 1:00 AM

COEUR d'ALENE — The Idaho Master Gardener Program and UI Extension offices are returning to Coeur d’Alene.

After four years of being stationed at the University of Idaho Research Park in Post Falls, the program is relocating its diagnostic plant clinic and offices to 1250 W. Ironwood Drive, Suite 107. The diagnostic plant clinic will reopen to the public in the new location Thursday.

“We are pleased to be back in Coeur d’Alene,” said Kara Carleton, program coordinator. “This location is more centralized and we are anticipating and looking forward to serving more residents within Kootenai County.”

The diagnostic plant clinic is a free service available to residents of North Idaho. The walk-in clinic is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through September.

Also, gardeners can call the plant clinic during office hours, 208-292-2525, or email questions to kootenaimg@uidaho.edu. In addition, Master Gardeners can be found most Saturdays at the Kootenai County Farmers’ Market in Hayden.
