NIC GOLF: Jalil leads Cardinal women to team title at Grays Harbor NWAC match

DUPONT, Wash. — North Idaho College sophomore Laila Jalil claimed medalist honors with a 10-over 154, leading the Cardinal women to the team title at the Grays Harbor Northwest Athletic Conference Match, which concluded at The Home Course on Tuesday.

NIC shot a 480, beating Olympic by 26 shots for the women’s team title.

Four Cardinal players tied for seventh with 2-over 146, as the men edged the Community Colleges of Spokane by two strokes 577-579 for the team title.

Cole Jaworski, a sophomore from Coeur d’Alene High, finished tied for third with a 71-73—144 for the Community Colleges of Spokane.

NIC returns to action at the Highline NWAC League Match on Sunday and Monday at Oakbrook Golf Club in Lakewood, Wash.
