Alien Gear earns recognition, debuts new products

Alien Gear Holsters, a leading brand of quality injection-molded holsters made in Post Falls, announced the company’s Rapid Force Level 2 Slim Holster has been tested and recommended by the members of the National Tactical Officers Association.

The product’s overall score was 4.78 out of 5 in the Member Tested and Recommended Program. The Rapid Force Level 2 Slim Holster was tested and evaluated on more than a dozen criteria by law enforcement officers. The holster received perfect ratings by one tester for size, comfort and ease of cleaning and maintenance. Other test criteria that resulted in near-perfect ratings included design, performance and durability.

The company also announced the release of the new Rapid Force Level 2 Slim Holster for the Glock 17 pistol and the Double-Duty TAQ-STRAP.

The Rapid Force Level 2 Slim Holster joins a group of holsters for other Glock pistols and numerous pistols from Sig Sauer and other manufacturers and suppliers.

The TAQ-STRAP and Dynamic Drop Leg products debuted at the Association of the United States Army exhibition in Washington, D.C. Oct. 9-11.

Alien Gear and company representatives also made appearances at the International Associations of Chiefs of Police Expo in San Diego from Oct. 14-17.

Hayden’s Bombastic Brewing expands distribution to Nevada

Bombastic Brewing, a craft brewery in Hayden founded in 2016, is extending its distribution to now include Nevada.

Bombastic Brewing recently inked a distribution agreement with Reno-based NV Distributors, which distributes craft brands in Nevada.

Bombastic Brewing’s craft beers are now available at more than 330 locations in five states throughout the West. Bombastic Brewing is distributed in Idaho, Washington, Montana, Utah and now Nevada. Next, the company hopes to expand distribution to Oregon and Wyoming.

“Our mission is to make world class, highly sought after beer, and make it readily available to craft beer drinkers. We’re excited to get them into the hands of Nevadans,” said Russell Mann, Bombastic Brewing president.

Bombastic will initially be available in cans and on draft at locations in Reno and Sparks, and plans are in the works to expand distribution in Nevada, said NV Distributors Principal Alex McGinley.

Murder, Bombastic’s signature Mexican Chocolate Imperial Stout, and Attempted Murder Vanilla Cinnamon Imperial Stout are available at four Nevada locations, McGinley said.
