Pamela Turpin, 62, passed away peacefully April 26, 2023, at home with the one she loved. She was born May 27, 1960, in Helena, Mont., and was adopted by Pat and Melva Plew. She grew up in San Diego, Calif., and graduated from Serra High School before moving to Idaho. Shortly after arriving in Coeur d'Alene, she met her husband, Don Turpin, who she had been with ever since. Pam was a beloved wife, mother and friend, who will carry on through the amazing impact she had on the lives of those around her.

In her free time, Pam enjoyed traveling, cross-stitching, coloring and playing games on her tablet. She had a talent for creating beautiful and intricate designs, not only with her needle and thread, but also with stained glass, sharing her creations with families and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, tending to many beautiful flowers, and loved spending time with friends and family on the Coeur d'Alene River.

Pam had a kind and caring nature that endured her to all who met her. Her compassion and generosity were reflected in the many close friendships she maintained throughout her life.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Don, son Nicholas and many friends. She will be remembered for her kindness and greatly missed by all those who know her. Rest in Peace Pam/Mom, your memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Eagles Pavilion in Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814 across the street from Avista.
