MASKS: Our dog-gone rights

| September 20, 2020 1:00 AM

I noticed in the story of the masked dog Riley that the dog has a somewhat blank stare as he gazes into the camera. That’s a big part of a dog’s charm, they often don’t think things through. People, on the other hand, should not be praised for their lack of cognitive process.

That’s why some of us stay focused on the Bill of Rights, CDC foibles, frequent backtracking and outright statistical manipulation. What’s forced “cuteness” on a dog is captivity for a man.

Despite the faux lightheartedness of the article, the underlying message is depressingly ugly: Stare blankly and learn to tolerate a mask. Thanks, but no.
