Man seriously hurt in crash

POST FALLS — A Post Falls man suffered serious injuries in a crash Thursday afternoon.
According to the Idaho State Police, the accident occurred on Cecil and Poleline about 2:30 p.m.
Russell Johnson, 66, of Coeur d Alene, was driving a 2018 Ford F150 northbound on Cecil Road, while Roderic McDonald, 50, of Post Falls, was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Poleline, ISP reported.
Johnson failed to yield at the stop sign on Cecil and the two collided, the ISP said.
Johnson was wearing a seatbelt and McDonald was not wearing a helmet.
McDonald was transported by ground ambulance to Kootenai Health with serious injuries, the release said.
An investigation continues.
