Carole A. Oliver, 76
Carole A. Oliver, 76, died in Coeur d’Alene, April 17, 2008. Carole was born in Auburn, Calif., Jan. 24, 1932, to Conan and Loretta Chandler. She graduated Placer Union High School and then attended and graduated beauty college in Sacramento, Calif.
Carole later married Richard Oliver on Oct. 18, 1952, in Newcastle, Calif. She moved around the country with her husband who worked in the Air Force. He later retired at Fairchild Air Force Base, bringing the couple to North Idaho.
Carole enjoyed sewing and was an avid traveler. She is survived by her husband, son, Kevin Oliver and daughters, Lori Cartwright and Deanna Harshman.
Other survivors include, brother Lee Chandler, sister Barbara Glines, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008, at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene. There will be an internment at Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Following the memorial service, there will be a gathering at daughter Deanna’s home.
